DD in the Wild: Octav’s Integrated Risk Intelligence

The DD ecosystem is growing.
We’re proud to highlight builders who are making digital assets safe, trustless, and ready for real use.
This week’s spotlight: Octav, a comprehensive DeFi dashboard that helps users track their portfolios, analyze cost basis, and manage transactions across thousands of protocols.
Octav has officially launched the Wallet Risk Check widget, powered directly by Webacy DD.xyz. This integration brings high-fidelity risk intelligence right into the dashboard where users already manage their assets, allowing for seamless due diligence without switching tabs.
Risk Intelligence at Your Fingertips
With the new Wallet Risk Check widget, Octav users can now access the same powerful risk engine that protects major protocols and institutions. The widget serves two critical functions for DeFi power users:
- Self-Check: Instantly scan your own connected wallet to see if it has been flagged for sanctions, malicious behavior, or high-risk transaction history.
- Counterparty Due Diligence: Look up any address before you interact. Whether it’s a trader, a liquidity pool, or a new contract, you can paste the address for an instant risk breakdown to transact with confidence.
How to Add the Widget

The integration is live now. You can add the risk layer to your Octav dashboard in under 30 seconds:
- Log in to your Octav dashboard.
- Open the Widget Explorer.
- Search for "Wallet Risk Check".
- Click Add to Dashboard.
- Resize and position it wherever fits your workflow.
Building a Safer DeFi Stack

Octav’s integration is a perfect example of how modular risk intelligence can enhance the user experience. By embedding DD.xyz directly into the portfolio layer, Octav ensures that safety isn't an afterthought it's a default part of the transaction lifecycle.
And this is just the beginning. The Wallet Risk Check is the first of a series of widgets coming to the platform. Stay tuned for even more advanced risk functionality dropping into the Octav widget store soon.
